Withholding a child and denying them from someone they love, is the equivalent to a death.

The child’s grief is intense and unbearable, why would you do such a cruel and inhumane thing to someone you claim to love? I have often worked with absent parents mainly men who are in this situation where there are no safeguarding concerns and no reason for the child not to have contact with their father, yet they are still kept apart. There are steps you can do if you are in this position and have been denied contact. It is so important to act immediately if all efforts of communication have failed.
